I was born and raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan. I graduated from Henry Ford II High School in 2003 where I played football, ran track, and wrestled. I attended Central Michigan University where I double majored in Creative Writing and Cinematic Arts. I graduated in 2008. After I graduated from CMU, I began working as a substitute teacher in various school districts. This work inspired me to return to school and attain a teaching certificate, so that I can become a "real" teacher and not just a substitute. I will be graduating from Western Michigan University in May of 2012. I am also a huge Detroit Lions fan!
